Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Department provides geospatial data and applications to Lakeland City staff as well as our residents and the public at large. GIS is used to support various City functions including planning and economic development activities, engineering and infrastructure projects as well as asset management. Our goals are to increase efficiency in City operations and encourage data-driven decision making while keeping our residents informed and promoting transparency.
