Spring Sports (Youth):
The City of Lakeland announces upcoming Spring Kids Tennis Clinics for youth ages 5-8, 1 - 1:30 p.m.; and ages 9-18, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., on Sundays beginning May 3-June 14, at Windward Slopes Park.
Classes will be instructed by David DeGutis, a USPTA tennis instructor and coach and will focus on the basic tennis strokes, including forehands, backhands, volley’s and serves.
Cost is $90 per student for ages 5-8; $99 per student for ages 9-18. The deadline to register is May 2. Registration forms are available at Lakeland City Hall, 10001 Hwy 70.

Lakeland Spring Soccer (Co-Ed) is underway!!!
Ages 4-12 years old (five divisions).
Fee: $85 to include jersey and participation trophy. Parents provide black shorts.

YMCA Youth Coed T-Ball and Coach Pitch
Lakeland City Hall Park, 9959 Highway 70 (Next to City Hall)
T-ball and coach pitch is an introduction for children to develop baseball skills and have fun.
The 2014 season ran June through July. The YMCA fee for the activity is $90. Each player received a hat and t-shirt, and a trophy at the end of the season. Parents provided a bat, glove and helmet.
